Our purpose at CRANC is to promote health in rural and remote communities, to promote Health careers to high school students in both rural and remote areas, and to promote and support Health students at The University of Canberra to explore both rural and remote settings as a viable career option. Aside from the opportunities of having a network of people to speak to about rural and remote health, we are offering six annual scholarships of up to $500 each for our members to spend towards the cost of rural and remote placements How to contact us?

CRANC is the Canberra Rural Allied Health & Nursing Collective. We are one of 29 university-based health clubs, who are supported by the National Rural Health Students Network (NRHSN), who have over 9,000 members. The NRHSN are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health & Ageing. We are a group of students which are passionate about rural and remote health that are willing to help other health students experience rural and remote Australia and see its benefits.
